FIRST FLURRY

Amidst the first flurry

Babbling stream into river

Chaffinch sing your song

So charmingly

From your high branch

Up in the chestnut tree

SWEET BELLS

Sweet bells

Long racemes

Of pinkish flowers

Abundant on

Bushy Deciduous shrubs

Across eastern States
