Once abundant in our woodland

Raptor flying high

Red admiral flutter by

Drink from the buddleia

Lovely Vanessa atalanta

Of winters shadow

And it’s finally spring

There is fire in my heart.

And a lightness in my step

And the world seems full

Of infinite possibilities
