Decorate the

Christmas landscape

Of North America

WIND AND TEMPEST

 

Wind and tempest

Rain and flood

The chimney falls

With a thud

After the lightning storm

And booming thunder

Uprooted trees

Roofs torn asunder

But in the calm

As we convalesce

In the aftermath

There is a cleanness

DAYLIGHT WAS DECLINING

As twilight loomed

As behind the horizon

The sun was consumed
